Armageddon.
Come on, with a name like that, how could it not be a disaster movie? Basically, in this movie, an asteroid the size of Texas threatens to wipe out all life on the planet. Only Bruce Willis and his band of oil-drilling misfits can save earth by drilling a hole into the asteroid and planting a nuclear device into it. Do they succeed? Only you can answer this question by watching it.
The Day after Tomorrow
In this movie, a severe and abrupt climate change threatens to take out all life on earth with a new ice age. You follow a climatologist on his mission to reunite with his son in New York, but there is only one problem – the entire city is frozen solid, and the weather has not stopped getting worse!
The Core
In this movie, the earth is knocked off of it’s conventional rotation – The result? Well, if not stopped, everyone will die. With this setting comes a story where a team must drill to the center of the earth to detonate a charge that could put earth back onto it’s orbit, so it is an all or nothing mission where earth’s very existence is at stake! This is a great movie that you will be sure to enjoy!
