This Scottish actor/stuntman/martial artist might have a name that you do not place right away, but he has moves that you will recognize instantly in any movie that he has played in. There is no doubt that Raymond Park has made a name for himself in modern action movies, especially those where martial artist super warriors are needed! Here are some of his most memorable movies and roles ever and if you have not seen one of these films, you should definitely do so!

Raymond Park

Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom menace

In this movie, Raymond Park plays the role of Sith Apprentice to the Emperor in a character named Darth Maul. His red face paint, horns, devilish appearance, and double bladed red light saber are unmistakable, and even if the movie was a bit weak in other areas, there is no doubt that Raymond park has delivered to us here one of the most memorable jedI foes of all time. Definitely a movie to see!

X-men

In the original X-men movie, Raymond Park played the part of Toad and did a very good job of it too! The small, muscular super villain was a part of Magneto’s team in the movie, and there are many times where you can tell that Raymond Park’s martial arts skills played a part during the making of this movie. And even if he did not play a particularly “polished” character in Toad, the performance he gave was!

G.I. Joe, Rise of Cobra

Raymond Park played the part of the famous character Snake Eyes in this movie, and delivers what might be his deepest and most visually impressive role yet. This movie is definitely amazing, and Raymond Park’s performance in this movie is equally incredible. If you love guns, martial arts, and futuristic super-warriors, then this is a movie for you.

Do you love special effects? Perhaps this is the wrong question to ask, perhaps we should be asking, who doesn’t? Special effects have come a long way in the past 20 years, and some of the new movies that have come out in the later decade have proven to set the bar yet again for what good special effects are supposed to consist of. So, here are a few movies to look to for some of the best effects to date.

Transformers 2

Transformers 2 has ushered in a whole new era of visual beauty with the dramatic, yet intricate design of it’s main characters, huge autobots that Transform into different kinds of vehicles. The special effects in this movie are seamless, natural, and easy to watch, which is part of what makes Transformers 2 one of the best special effects projects to this day.

Transformers 2

Iron Man

Iron Man included some amazing special effects that, once again, were seamless and natural. Nowadays, it is not the goal of special effects to look good, but to look like they are not special at all! And Iron Man meets this goal with a gold medal. After all, if Iron Man can fly through the air and make it look very believable, then there has got to be something good about it. Oh yeah, and some good explosions never hurt!

Iron Man

Original star wars trilogy

Ok, they might not be new, but in a list of super special effects movies, you cannot leave out the original star wars movies. They are amazing, and they were the beginning of a whole new era of special effects technology. To be quite honest, they are still better than a lot of stuff that came after them, which just goes to show how these movies were way ahead of their time.

Original star wars trilogy
