More than 10 000 movie fans, 150 movie critics and film makers, including some of the greatest like Quentin Tarantino and Guillermo Del Toro, took part in the poll (to find the greatest movie of all) made by one of the largest movie magazines in the world, Empire.

According to the poll, The GodFather has been named the greatest movie of all. Here is the list of top 10 greatest movies of all time:

1. The Godfather (1972)

3. Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

4. The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
